At the moment we are looking for interpreters who can interpret via the telephone. Among other benefits, working as a telephone interpreter enables you to work as an interpreter in areas where few contact, or personal, interpretation services are required.
We are primarily interested in certified interpreters, but also in other types of trained interpreters. We are looking for you who are already registered with us and would like to be re-contacted after a period of absence or no contact.
We staff the interpretation assignment in accordance with the level of expertise of the available interpreters, but naturally, we also take the customer's desires and our own agent's professional assessment into consideration.
Nights and weekends we have a common on-call number for the entire country. During these hours we have a limited number of incoming lines, which must be kept primarily available for our customers or if you have an acute need to get in contact with an agent.
Semantix Tolkjouren has six offices in Sweden. Our head offices are in Stockholm, and other offices are found in Malmö, Gothenburg, Norrköping, Uppsala and Umeå.
Local office primarily take care of contact, or personal, interpretation in their local area. Telephone interpretation assignments often are handled between several office, but the primary responsibility for all interpretation is with the local offices.
