Refusal of assignments
If you cannot carry out the assignment you have been given, you must notify us in good time.
It is not acceptable to cancel at the last minute, unless you have arranged for this eventuality with your agent.

Submit a requisition
The final submission date for interpreter salary requisition forms is the 15th of each month, with salary to be paid the following month. Keep in mind that requisition forms may be a maximum of two months old. This is a condition from our customers.

Renew your confidentiality agreement
All Semantix Interpreters work under strict confidentiality agreements.
Your confidentiality agreement as interpreter must be renewed every five years. If you have not heard from us for a while, it may be because your confidentiality agreement has expired!
You can print out and renew your confidentiality agreement here (a PDF which opens in a new window). Fill it in and send it to your local office. Mark the envelope "Interpreter Recruitment". Addresses can be found under About us / Contact / Interpretation Services.
Order an interpreter's badge
All Semantix interpreters shall have an interpreter badge. If you do not have an interpreter badge, order one from us as soon as possible.
Send a passport photo with your name and Swedish identity number to Semantix headquarters in Stockholm. Mark the envelope "Interpreter Badge". Addresses can be found under About us / Contact / Interpretation Services.
Speak to a counselor
Interpreting can be psychologically demanding, and sometimes you need support and help from a counselor or advisor.

Accident Insurance
All Semantix interpreters shall have accident insurance. This shall cover you in the event of an accident on the way to or from an assignment from us.
If an accident should occur, fill in the accident report form, which you can find here. The form is to be sent to Semantix headquarters in Stockholm to be signed. Addresses can be found under About us / Contact / Interpretation Services.
Various types of certification

If it is proof of employment you need, fill in your personal information on a proof of employment form and send it to us. The form can be found at the Swedish Federation of Unemployment Insurance Fund's website (opens in a new window).
The form is to be sent to Semantix headquarters in Stockholm to be completed and signed. Mark the envelope "Interpreter Certificate". Addresses can be found under About us / Contact / Interpretation Services.
The Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency Interpreter Certification Exam
If you would like to take the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency Interpreter Certification Exam
We want to encourage interpreters to raise their level of expertise. For this reason, we offer a partial grant to subsidize the cost of the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency Interpreter Certification Exam for all interpreters already employed by us.
We will subsidize your registration fee, provided you can present a receipt of payment. If you then pass both the written and oral parts of the exam, you can get further compensation.

If you have taken the Swedish Legal, Financial and Administrative Services Agency Interpreter Certification Exam
Once you have passed the Interpreter Certification Exam you can also acquire special competency in legal interpretation and/or medical interpretation and receive further compensation from us.
Further education and training
If you would like to further your education
There are many courses available for you who already have already completed your interpreter's degree or certificate. More information can be found under Interpreter Training.
If you would like to further your education
Send your certification or degree to your local office (if you have completed supplemental course after your basic training)! It is important that we re aware of all of your areas of expertise when we are staffing assignments.
