Croatian

Croatian is a South Slavic language closely related to Bosnian and Serbian. Unlike Serbian, which can also be written in the Cyrillic alphabet, Croatian is only written using the Latin alphabet. In addition to the alphabet, Croatian differs in vocabulary, grammar and the melody of the language itself. It used to be known by its contrived name, Serbo-Croatian, a collective name for Serbian, Bosnian and Croatian.

Prior to translation and interpretation

Before ordering a translation or interpreter, it is a good idea to know which country the translated material will be used in and which country the person to be interpreted comes from. This is particularly important for translations into languages which are spoken in many different countries, since the same language may be written differently and in some cases with different alphabets.
