Catalan

Catalan is a Romance language spoken in northeastern Spain.

It is the official language of the provinces Catalonia and Valencia and in the country of Andorra, and is also spoken in the easternmost region of Aragon, on the Balearic islands, in the French region Catalogne Nord (Northern Catalonia), and in city of Alghero in Sardinia.

Note! Not to be confused with Castilian (Spanish).
