Nordic languages

The Nordic languages are a subgroup of the Germanic languages group.

The Nordic languages are divided into East Nordic languages, that is, Swedish, Norwegian (bokmål) and Danish, and West Nordic languages, that is, Faeroese, Icelandic and Norwegian (nynorsk) .

Scandinavian Languages
The Scandinavian Languages are a group in which normally only Danish, Norwegian and Swedish are included, but this term is often used as a synonym for the Nordic languages.
